Itinerary

Early Morning — Labuan Bajo – Denge Village – Trek to Wae Rebo

• Pick-up from your hotel in Labuan Bajo around 4:00 AM.

• Scenic drive to Denge Village (approx. 5–6 hours), passing through lush hills, small villages, and panoramic views of Flores’ countryside.

• Upon arrival in Denge, begin a 2.5–3 hour trek through forested trails and mountain paths toward Wae Rebo.

• Along the way, enjoy the fresh mountain air and occasional encounters with local farmers.

Midday — Explore Wae Rebo Village

• Arrive at Wae Rebo Village, located 1,200 meters above sea level.

• Receive a traditional welcome ceremony (“Waelu”) from the locals.

• Learn about the Mbaru Niang traditional houses, community life, coffee production, and weaving culture.

• Enjoy a simple local lunch prepared by the villagers.

• Take time to photograph the stunning landscape and absorb the peaceful mountain atmosphere.

Afternoon — Return Trek and Drive Back to Labuan Bajo

• After your visit, trek back down to Denge Village.
